BID Contributory Supporters
As the BID develops, voluntary financial contributions will be sought from a variety of stakeholders. This might be in the form of an addition to the levy which they incur as being the levy payer on a property as the benefits of further investment generate a positive return for that organisation which they are keen to contribute towards.
Voluntary contributions have already been committed by the Crown Estate, Land Securities, the University of Worcester, Worcestershire County Council, Worcester City Council and the Diocese of Worcester in the region of 41,000 pounds in the first year of the BID. We are very grateful for their support and commitment.
Such stakeholders can be from the private or public sector and any contribution will be included with the BID levy income for projects demanded by the businesses.
Voluntary contributions can be made by any public or private sector business. Those businesses within the BID area below the 7,500 pounds rateable value threshold are especially welcome to make a contribution. Please contact BID Manager Adrian Field on 01905 722337 to find out more.
