New Street, the Cornmarket and Mealcheapen Street

The New Street exit from Reindeer Court brings you back out into one of Worcester's most historic streets, a key location during the Battle of Worcester (The King Charles House is now a fine restaurant) and today lined with interesting and individual shops. Beautiful Flowers, The Model Shop, Schooltogs. Wander north towards the Cornmarket and Mealcheapen Street and you will find Worcester Furniture Exhibition Centre, the Paint Box gift shop and Durrants gunsmiths as well Acanthus women's fashion and Dianna Clark at Clarity for desinger women's wear and specialising in luxurious evening wear.

And in late November/early December this is the part of Worcester where you will find the Worcester Christmas Fayre, a prestigious Victorian-themed street market.
