Footfall Monitoring Counters

We have recently installed 4 footfall counters in the city centre as part of the Getting Out & About project heading. Located in Broad Street (Specsavers), High Street (Marks & Spencer and Dorothy Perkins) and in Pump Street (Eagle Vaults) the counters are an excellent means of assessing how busy the city is by area, day and even hour - allowing you to compare your own footfall or turnover figures and put them in context. How good would it be to tell a Regional Manager that your sales were up 50% in a week when footfall in the city was static?

 

Reports such as the one below can be emailed to you every week free of charge by the BID team. We will add in weather details and other information such as events taking place that may have influenced footfall. All we need from you is the email address you want the information sent to (we can include as many as you wish) and we will do the rest!
