Olympic Torch Relay - Public and School Bus Services
Service 15 / S15 (Whittles) -
Service 20 (WCC Fleet) - The 17:40 and 18:05 departures from Droitwich Town Centre may experience delays as a result of the convoy. All other Droitwich Town Bus Services have finished before the convoy arrives in the town.
Services 30 (First) - This service will operate its standard Friday and Saturday evening timetable additionally on this evening.
Services 31/31A/31C (First) - The 31A 17:20 and 17:50 departures from Henwick Park should operate as normal to Bilford Road (Post Office), then divert via Astwood Road - Rainbow Hill - Lowesmoor to Worcester Bus Station. This service will then operate its standard Friday and Saturday evening timetable additionally on this evening.
Services 32 (First) - The 18:30 departure from Ombersley Road (New Inn) should be cancelled. This service will then operate its standard Friday and Saturday evening timetable additionally on this evening.
Services 33/34 (First) - This service will operate its standard Friday and Saturday evening timetable additionally on this evening.
Services 35 (First) - This service will operate its standard Friday and Saturday evening timetable additionally on this evening.
Service 141 (Diamond) - This service should be unaffected as long as it is running on time as the last departure from Droitwich is 17:50.
Service 144 (First) - The 17:21 departure from Catshill should operate as normal to Martin Hussingtree and then divert via A4538 Pershore Lane - M5 Junction 6 - A449 - Blackpole Road - Astwood Road - Rainbow Hill - Lowesmoor - Worcester Bus Station, as it will be unable to pass the convoy all the way in to Worcester. The 16:55 departure from Birmingham should operate as normal to Droitwich Road / Bilford Road roundabout, then divert via Bilford Road - Astwood Road - Rainbow Hill and Lowesmoor to Worcester Bus Station.

As Bewdley High School is closing at 12:30, the 12:20 departure from Kidderminster Bus Station should divert via Bewdley High School to collect students, and also serve Far Forest village (as per the usual 15:20 departure).

The 15:20 departure from Kidderminster will operate its standard School Holiday journey to Hales Park. The 15:50 journey from Hales Park to Kidderminster will operate as the return journey.
Service 318 (Hansons) - As Haybridge High School is closing early at 15:00, the usual 15:35 departure from Stourbridge should operate 30 minutes earlier, departing at 15:05.
Services 26 / 27 (Astons) - This service is likely to experience delays for journeys prior to 08:30.

The 08:00 S42 journey should operate its standard Saturday / School Holiday journey as the S42 will operate at a later time.

The 09:05 departure from Fruitlands should operate as normal to Avenue Road, then turn right on to Church Street (downhill) and resume normal route towards Madresfield Road. The bus will need to wait time on BarnardŒs Green Road at the bus stop by the Old Hospital. The Graham Road / Worcester Road / Church Street loop will therefore be omitted.

The 10:05 departure from Fruitlands should operate as an S42, diverting via Dyson Perrins High School.
Service 44 (First) -

The 07:57 journey from County Hall should operate as normal to Worcester Bus Station, then terminate. The vehicle should then run Œout of serviceŒ to Dyson Perrins High School, to resume the 09:26 departure towards Worcester.

The 08:46 journey from Dyson Perrins will divert from Albert Park Road via A449 Worcester Road direct to Malvern Link (Co-Op), then resume normal service from there at 09:15 towards Worcester.

The 09:06 journey from Dyson Perrins will divert from Albert Park Road via A449 Worcester Road direct to Malvern Link (Co-Op), then resume normal service from there at 09:35 towards Worcester.

Students who usually use the early AM journeys to Dyson Perrins High School and The Chase High School will not use their normal journeys due to the later opening times of both schools. Students will be expected to use later journeys on the scheduled timetable, with students from The Chase walking to the school from the BarnardŒs Green bus stops. A normal School Day timetable should therefore operate.
362 / 363 (First)
- The 07:40 362 departure from Worcester should operate as normal to BarnardŒs Green, then terminate. The 09:00 hrs 362 departure from Link Top will therefore commence at BarnardŒs Green at 09:07, omitting Great Malvern and Link Top.
- The 08:00 363 departure from Worcester should operate as normal to Link Top, and operate its normal 09:30 departure. It may however be delayed getting to Link Top from Graham Road.
The 09:50 362 departure from Worcester should extend from Link Top via Newtown Road to Dyson Perrins High School due to the later start time of the school. It should then resume the 11:00 362 departure from Link Top as soon as possible and passengers will be advised the journey will run slightly late.Students who usually travel to The Chase High School from Malvern Wells will need to use the 08:50 363 journey from Worcester instead due to the later opening time of the school, then walk from BarnardŒs Green to the school.
Service S64 (SmithŒs Motors) - As the Chase High School is opening at the later time of 10:00, this service should commence 1 hour later than usual, to get students to school for 09:30.
Bewdley High School is closing at 12:30, therefore the following routes should depart from the school at the earlier time rather than the usual end of school day.
