The event season is opened with the Worcester Arts' Market in High Street on 26th and 27th March, which features original works of local artists from the three counties.
 
New this year are the special May Day and August Bank Holiday Farmers' Markets in High Street, which are an addition to the well-established farmers' and continental markets.
 
The Worcester Strawberry Festival celebrates its 3rd anniversary on 26th and 27th June 2010. Visit and enjoy the flavours of summer, browse the stalls offering a variety of strawberry-related food, drink, arts and crafts, or simply relax and watch the street entertainment. 
 
For two weeks each August the city is transformed by a plethora of events, a true celebration of life in Worcester, which is the Worcester Festival.
 
Worcester is known for its magical Christmas Fayre which occurs around the start of advent each year.  This Victorian-themed street market takes place from 2nd to 5th December in the city's unique and atmospheric historic streets. 
 
Worcester's main venues are the Swan Theatre and Huntingdon Hall run by Worcester Live and providing a range of drama, dance, comedy and music programming. 
 
Worcester Cathedral, the city's largest auditorium offers a range of concerts, events and exhibitions in stunning surroundings, including Europe's oldest choral music festival the world-famous Three Choirs Festival, next in Worcester in 2011.
