The Cross, The Hopmarket, The Foregate

Continuing north from the High Street you will reach The Cross, the city's main banking district, but also home to Blacks Outdoor, Forrest Hay jewellers and David Christopher jewellers and specialist stationers Concorde in Trinity Passage. Moving further north towards the Foregate Street railway station you pass the Hopmarket. One a commercial hotel and trading centre for the hops grown throughout Worcestershire, it is now an intimate shopping courtyard with a unique selection of independently-owned shops: Bespoke tailoring for men and women and designer menswear at Individual Tailoring, designer women's fashion at Stripes which stocks many European labels found only in Worcester, Zendel's sweet shop, Kraft Korner and many others.
