Streetscene Bookings
VisitWorcester, in conjunction with Worcestershire County Council, is responsible for managing bookings of space and banner points in the city centre.
The main area dedicated for Streetscene bookings is Angel Place (junction with Broad Street), a busy pedestrianised area in immediate vicinity of the market area, bus station and CrownGate shopping centre. This site can flexibly used for commercial, charity and community bookings using display counters, vehicles, trailers and gazebos. Regular visitors of this site are Hylton Renault, E.On, NPower, Cancer Research UK and the National Blood Service.
The High Street site in front of the Guildhall (between the railings and bollards) is dedicated for events of a cultural or artistic nature, for example dance or choir performances, re-enactments and activities such as the annual Shrove Tuesday pancake race.
Banner bookings can be placed for two locations in High Street, as well as Sidbury, College Street and Whittington Road.
